Welcome to Model Railroads. This Blog (as of now) covers two model railroads: the HO scale Monroe Jct. and the N scale Scenic Ridge. These are father and son built and operated layouts with Michael, age 49, using HO and Hardie, age 15, using N scale. Both are placed in a Bonus Room along with a 56" TV, couple of chairs and couches, other miscellaneous objects, so this room was not made to be a layout room rather than its the only place we can put are layouts. Plus the layouts are about 2' from each other so you might see some pictures of one layout with the other layout in the picture.

All the layouts we have ever made have either been or less than a 4' by 8' Primarly due to space. The Monroe Jct. is 4'x 6' and the Scenic Ridge is 3'x 8'. To find out more about each layout click on the past posts or seach there name on this site.
